2021-2022 ACADEMIC SESSION
We held the Year One Class Assembly for this academic year and it was truly a delight.
The children put on a rousing presentation as they recited and translated the traditional French children’s song, Petit Poisson (Little Fish); a song about different types of sea creatures swimming in the water. This rendition is part of the class’ cross-curricular study on animals.
They shared their activities from the last weeks: a poem they had learned called Stand Up; their storytelling exercise told with puppets; and their accomplishments in mathematics, literacy and recreational activities.
It was a great way to start the day. We’re grateful to our parents for being the audience.
